Nature Tails is seeking a Sales Representative for the 2021 Market Season!

Nature Tails LLC is a pet company whose mission is to market products sourced from our community of farmers and artisans. This mission also guarantees that customers can rest assured that the products purchased from us for their pets are of the highest quality ingredients and craftsmanship. As we grow, so do the farms and businesses we support. We are constantly creating new and better products. We are looking to hire a new team member!

As a Nature Tails Sales Representative, your main responsibility would be to independently run one of our Saturday farmers’ markets or special events. The position encompasses a wide range of duties, including:

• Be knowledgeable about the products
• Emphasize the quality of the products to highlight how they are unique.
• Answer questions about the products, i.e. how they are made, where the ingredients come from, etc.
• Identify prospective customers
• Manage transactions accurately and efficiently
• Process sales transactions
• Calculate the cost of products
• Accept payments
• Calculate and return change from the cash drawer
• Report issues with equipment
• Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

• Customer service skills, to listen to the concerns of customers and be able to address their needs
• Interpersonal skills, to work with a wide variety of people each day
• Communication skills, especially persuasion, to convey clearly the benefits of our products to potential customers
• Physical endurance, as you will need to be on your feet for 5 hours or more, load and unload products, and set-up/tear down event booth and displays. You must be able to carry heavy (30 pounds or more) items
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver's license and reliable mode of transportation

Compensation:  $120 per market.
