In 2019 Nashvillians, Kevin Mead and Darin Richardson took their Rescue Lab and Three Huskies on a three day, 27 mile adventure on the Appalachian Trail. On that Trail from White Top, VA to Demascus, VA, the idea for Nature Tails was born. Upon returning, the pediatric emergency RN and IT specialist got to work building their pet brand.
To ensure the best ingredients, Nature Tails has partnered with nearly 20 small family farms giving us the ability to trace 95% of our main ingredients back to the farm they came from, with 85% of all our ingredients coming from Middle Tennessee and Kentucky Farms. As Nature Tails grows, the sustainable family farms we utilize are able to grow as well!

Bentley Farms
Located just outside of Bowling Green, KY sits this beautiful farm owned and operated by Wyatt and Allie Bentley. It is their mission to keep their products as natural as possible in order to create the best quality food. They strive to do this in a way that is regenerative for the land and provide the best animal welfare. Wyatt and Allie proudly run their operation without the use of growth hormones, antibiotics, or any chemical pesticide, fertilize, or herbicide.

Bernard Farms
Right outside the sunny city of Orlinda, TN lies the beautiful farmlands belonging to Steve and Julie Bernard of Bernard Farms. Steve and Julie work hard to ensure the very best meat products possible. They grow the grains used to feed the animals on the same farm. Their hogs are farrow to finish which means every hog they process was born on their farm and grown on the farm. They take great care to ensuring the health and safety of all their animals.

Great River Organic Milling
Just off the upper Mississippi River in western Wisconsin sits this amazing family owned and operated flour mill. Founded in 1975, all of their products are carefully selected to ensure the best quality. They use natural granite stones for milling which enhances the quality, taste, and nutritional integrity of all of their flours.
